In light of how easy it is for people to illegally enter the U.S. from other countries, I think these people fleeing from a Marxist dictatorship (that’s kind of redundant, isn’t it?) deserve to be able to remain here.
Here’s a splendid article from nationalreview.com about the increasing trend of “scientists”–who are involved in political or policy debates about human cloning or teaching Darwinism, to rely on un-civil debate and dismissiveness in their discourse.
Dems in Texas are troubled that their two gubernatorial candidates are not getting much attention, never mind that a Democrat has not won a statewide election in Texas in 12 years . . . but according to the Left and the “antique media” (thanks Rush) efforts to redistrict Texas’ house districts to reflect a GOP [...]
This article in the NY Times is ironic because it presumes that the Greenie Left isn’t already unhinged about Bush. I also like the presumption by the article’s author that global warming is a fact.
This also reminds me of what Bubba said in Davos was the number one concern in the world right now: “global [...]
This story will hopefully become common knowledge to every voter in Maryland. The 84-year-old Maryland Comptroller, who is up for re-election in November, made sexual comments to a young aide to the Governor at a public meeting yesterday. Katrina’s aftermath is a perfect example, and courtesy of my former law professor (Instapundit, aka Glenn Reynolds) I see that Popular Mechanics is critically considering [...]
I’m recovering from a two-week bout with “walking pneumonia,” and have to comment on the Dick Cheney SCANDAL; the media is outraged, the Dems are outraged, but I doubt anyone else is . . . I’m assuming that they haven’t focused grouped this latest tactic, because I just don’t think it will affect the public’s [...]
You may not have read Bill Moyers’ op/ed in last week’s Minneapolis Tribune in which he alleged
evangelical Christians are in principle and indeed in favor of trashing our Environment, and you may
not need any evidence that he is officially whacked, but it is encouraging to see how the Blogosphere has demonstrated how libelous, irresponsible and [...]
For anyone paying attention to the SCOTUS appointment of Judge Alito, you’ll see the irony of this report from Orlando, Florida. Police were searching a car (containing two adults and a baby) and found that the baby’s parents had hidden marijuana in the baby’s diaper. While the Dems’ accusations against Alito concerning the “strip search [...]
